This party all started with the menu. Without meaning to I had this perfect Doctor Who Party Menu:
Vashta Nerada Detection Kit from “Silence in the Library”
Bow Tie Pasta Salad from the Eleventh Doctor
Snowman Cheese Ball Plate from “The Snowmen”
Apple Face Pie from “The Eleventh Hour”
Fish Finger Cookies and Custard also from “The Eleventh Hour”
Vegetable Matter Balls from “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship”
Except that’s not where it started — let’s go a little bit farther back in time.
A friend and I were at a restaurant, drinking margaritas, eating tortilla chips and salsa and talking about something.
“That’s so exciting, you should totally do that!” this friend exclaimed.
“What, do what?”
“Didn’t you say you were going to have a Doctor Who Christmas Party?”
“No. No, I’m not having a party.”
That’s where it first started. Then came the menu. Now we have to move forward a bit to a time after the restaurant and after the menu to later in the summer. This is when the party really started because this is when the friend and I decided to co-host a Doctor Who Christmas Party because we just couldn’t stop thinking about how awesome that would be.
Yes, that was the start or the end of the start. Now, because it is the epitome of boredom to read the retelling of a party you weren’t at this is where I will end.
Oh and that one picture above is me dressed as if I were Doctor Who.
